Smoking should be discouraged for one to get a baby, statics shows that nonsmokers are likely to be pregnant 2-3 days within a year but for smokers it is cut half each month. Quitting smoking improves the womb lining. For those women who find it hard to quit smoking they can replace it with; patches, inhalators, and sprays. On other side alcoholism should be avoided because there is evidence that alcohol causes changes in cycle regulation and ovulation, this leads to diminished ovarian reserve and to men it leads to decrease in the hormones that lead to testosterone and sperm production.
